Students and teachers participate in programme quality policies through regular monitoring and evaluation activities based on indicators provided by the Ministry of Education (MIUR).
This section contains the documents and information to learn about and participate in programme quality policies.
The programme quality assurance (QA) process relies on the important contribution of the students, the programme QA representative, the Teaching Staff-Student Joint Committee and the review group.
They are a fundamental part of the QA process and can contribute to programme improvement through:
- Participation in the local programme quality assessment and improvement boards (first and foremost the Teaching Staff-Student Joint Committee);
- The student survey, which allows them to submit their opinions to university quality boards at all levels.
The programme QA representative
He/she oversees the QA process, liaising with the programme president, the review group, the Teaching Staff-Student Joint Committee, and the university teaching quality boards.
The Joint Teaching Staff-Student Committee
Consisting of an equal number of teachers and students, it is a permanent observatory of educational activities that monitors the training offer, the quality of teaching, and the service provided to students by professors and researchers.
The review group
Established within the academic board, it is in charge of preparing the annual study programme datasheet and the cyclical review.
